Verena Krauze

Soprano

Born in Karlsruhe, received her training at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, CNSMD in Paris at the Schola Cantorum (opera class), attended numerous international master classes and private lessons etc. with Jean-Pierre Blivet, Margreet Honig, Luis Conte and Stefan Haselhoff and was already at the beginning of the study won several competitions.

As a partner of Jorg Demus, piano, Patrick Gallois, flute, and the Salzburg soloist she performed in Poitiers, Japan, Schloss Bruhl, Bad Kissingen, in the Lobkowitz Palace in Vienna and the Mirabell Palace in Salzburg, in northern Italy and San Marino, as well as in Sicily, especially with Schubert songs.

With the "Salzburger Hofmusik" (conducted by Wolfgang Brunner) when she was well-known early music festivals, such as in Brugge, Herne, in Slovenia, in different towns and castles in Austria and Germany, in Barcelona (Palau de la Musica) and Moscow . Radio broadcasts and recordings testify to many years of joint work. Of particular note: the Christmas CD "Run, you shepherds" (music of the Salzburg court before Mozart) and "La Faretra smarrita" (CPO).

Unusual operas and concert projects with Villa Musica, the Capella Savaria and ensembles of SCB led her to Russia tour to Budapest, the German theater to Valparaiso, the EXPO to Murten, in the small stage of the Basel Theater, the theater in the Teufelhof Basel and under the leadership of her husband Bohdan Shved to Lviv in the Ukraine (2005, 2006 Early Music Festival Lviv).

At the festival "Autumn Music Days" in Bad Urach, 2007-2009 and 2011 she was a guest repeatedly. In 2009 she took a trip into the musical Gengre and enthusiastic as Maria in "The Sound of Music" more than 3,000 spectators in Chile.
