“Kiev Piano Duo” Oleksandra Zaytseva - Dmytro Tavanets Winners of International Piano Duo Competition CMF (Paris, France, 2002), XIX Schubert International Piano Duo Competition (Czech Republic, 2005), International competition “Piano six hands” (Marktoberdorf, Germany, 2006), V International piano Duo Competition in Kaunas (Lithuania, 2006), Valberg International Piano Duo Competition (Valberg, France, 2009), Edvard Grieg International Piano Duo Competition (Oslo, Norway, 2011). Concerts in Ukraine, Russia, Denmark, France, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Iran, took part in Tavaszi Festival (Budapest, Hungary), festival “Virtuoso” (Lviv, Ukraine), “Copenhagen Summer Festival” (Denmark), Schubertiade (Roskilde, Denmark), festival “Vivere memento” (Moscow, Russia), “Music Premiers of Seasons” (Kiev, Ukraine), “Kiev Music Fest” (Kiev). Gave lections and masterclasses in Royal Music Academy in Copenhagen (Denmark), Tehran (Iran).

Duo has cooperation with Henrik Svitzer, Andras Adorjan, Pierre-Yves Artaud for flute seminar in Trente Molle, Denmark. Recently Duo released CD with Schubert's music for piano four hands.

Oleksandra Zaytseva graduated from National Music Academy of Ukraine studying with professor Oleksandr Snegiryov and than finished post graduate study in National Music Academy in class of professor Igor Ryabov. She is Prizewinner of many International Piano Competitions: in memory of A.Rubinstein (Poland), Rome 1996 (Italy), Antonin Dvorak International Piano Competition (Czech Republic, Grand Prix). Oleksandra was holder of Vox Populi and Grand Prix Prize in Regina and Vladimir Horowitz Festival (1995, 1996, 1997, Kiev, Ukraine), took part in number of International music festivals: Musica Antiqua (Brugge, Belgium), Beethoven festival and many others. Played a lot of concerts with orchestras and solo in Ukraine and many countries all over the world. Made recordings on radio and TV.

Oleksandra took part in Chopin tour 2010 organized by Polish Institute playing recitals and orchestra performances (conductor – Roman Revakovych, Poland). Now Oleksandra Zaytseva is teaching on piano department of National Music Academy of Ukraine.

Dmytro Tavanets finished National Music Academy of Ukraine and post graduate study in National Music Academy of Ukraine, where he was studying with professor Vsevolod Vorobyov. He is Prizewinner of National Piano Competitions, finalist of 1st and 2nd International Piano Competitions in memory of Vladimir Horowitz. From 1999 he is working with National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyiv Kamerata”. Dmytro took part in Music Fest (Kyiv), “2 days and 2 nights” (Odessa), 1st Festival of modern music (Yerevan, Armenia), Days of Ukrainian Culture in Germany (Berlin), Days of Kiev’s culture in Moscow (Russia), “New Music Marathon 2005” (Prague, Czech Republic).
